The Festival Jordi Savall is one of the most unique music festivals in Europe. Founded by the renowned artist and conductor Jordi Savall, the festival offers extraordinary concerts by internationally renowned artists and the main musical ensembles created by Maestro Savall. The Jordi Savall Festival offers the audience an unforgettable experience through music in historical places as unique as the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus, the city of Montblanc and the Royal Monastery of Poblet.
The Festival Jordi Savall takes place annually during the month of August and presents a program of concerts of great quality with music ranging from the Middle Ages to contemporary music as well as the repertoires of various musical traditions. The Festival counts with the participation of musical groups founded and directed by maestro Jordi Savall, which are Hespèrion XXI, La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Le Concert des Nations and Orpheus 21, as well as international guest musicians, the celebration of conferences and the promotion of young emerging proposals.
